Cheap Blades

I wrote about these blades before. Now I have pictures.
Top top bottom, then left to right.
Top is the knife purchased from Harbor Freight.
Then it's a carbide sharpener from Dick's sporting goods.
Next it's the Schrade MultiTool.
Net up are the skinners ,one fixed blade and one liner lock folder from BigLots.
All of those knives and sharpener only set me back about 41.00 before taxes.
Can't go wrong there.
I hope the blog is more interesting now that I have a camera to add some photo's.

I got the Schrade skinner and the Multi-tool after hearing from you. The Schrade has not been off my belt since then.

I like this kind of stuff! Someone oncwe sauid something about knives being a penis symbol and I asked "What is wrong with having a penis?" Seems natural to me!

Knives are an indispensable tool.... and having the right tool at the right time can be tricky...thats why I recommended those tools as the best available on the cheap....Dragon

I like your choice of blades, versatility!
over the past year I started swapping out my wifes stainless kitchen knifes for carbon steel blades,..like the "ole-Hickory" brands that most folk in this country used to use. They last a long time and can be sharpened on a rock if need be. Most of us in this country got lazy since the 60's what with all the "newest" "latest" "better than ever" whizmo gadgets that came along....There is nothing wrong with and every thing right with simple basics.

Good post!
