Today we review the Woodgas camp stove.
A sturdy little number constructed of stainless steel.
It's available in two models The XL and the LE.
The LE is the original version of the stove and the
Xl is the improved version. I got to try it out at
a buddies house and I was impressed. Add a handfull
of twigs to the combustion chamber, light and your
cooking with WoodGas. The stove works by a small fan
adding air to the primary combustion and also creates
a secondary combustion at the top eliminating smoke and
increasing the overall heat output. I would highly
recommend this item to any one. Don't leave this one at home come SHTF.

I also have this stove, I have used this for outdoor cooking, indoor heating of a small TT (puts out a very small % of carbon monoxide compared to a cigarette and its second hand smoke), and use it for a cheap way of bullet casting. Recomend getting a solar charger and the newer Low Self Discharge NiMH AA batteries to go with this stove. Will purchase one more to place in my BOB permantly.

I don't have one of these, but can report the Zip Stove, which is very similar to this are great as well. I guess buying a coupla extra electric fan motors would be a good idea, as well as stocking up on a solar battery charger as well. Brunton solarport 4.4 solar charger is great here.
